In this article, we firstly expound on the development of the electric car industrybackground and current situation of the electric car development. We also analysis thedevelopment of electric vehicles in the future. Compared with the traditional fuel cars, electriccars have many advantages. For example, energy saving, green pollution-free, cheap usingcost, etc. But it also has certain drawbacks, it is just these disadvantages limit the expansionof the electric car market. Such as: the high price of electric vehicles, the electric car chargingconvenient or not, as well as its range. But as the whole battery industry technical challengesconstantly breakthrough and the falling of the electric control cost. I believe that in the nearfuture electric cars will have a place in some areas.Secondly, aiming at the working conditions of electric vehicles in this project and thecorresponding design requirements. We choose the drive motor and power battery that meetrequirements of the car, and do our best to reduce the early electric car purchase price.Combine with the use of electric cars and the design requirements, we do match calculationson the main parameters of the drive motor and power battery and other power components.And determine their performance index requirements. According to the actual situation of thevehicle and considering the requirement of load distribution, we determine the reasonablelayout scheme of electric cars. We use the Matlab software to calculate the driving force-driving resistance of the electric car, maximum climbing figure, acceleration diagram, etc.We also do theoretical calculations on the corresponding various performance parameters ofelectric cars. We build the electric car simulation model in the GT-Suite softwareenvironment, and simulate and the technical specifications of the electric car. Compared withcalculate the electric vehicle performance index to the theories. To verify the correctness ofthe theoretical calculation and the feasibility of the simulation calculation.At the end of the electric car assembly and debugging of the entire project, a real vehicleexperiment is carried out of a prototype to validate the feasibility of the project design. Andthe real vehicle experiment results and theoretical calculation and simulation are compared.We compare the real vehicle experiment results with the theoretical calculation and simulation. Real vehicle experiment project mainly includes: Outside car acceleration noise;driving indoor noise test; Acceleration performance test; Top speed test; Range test; Climbingperformance test; Motor locked-rotor flameout function test, etc.
