Firstly, this paper discusses the development actuality of HEV technology and EV simulation technology. Considering the development circumstance of our national HEV technology, a HEV drivetrain configuration which is suitable to the situation of our country is put forward in this thesis. According to the requirement analysis of QR-HEV, a light torque-composing parallel hybrid powertrain configuration is finally adopted. On the basis of this configuration, this paper analyzes fundamental operating mode transitions of overall vehicle system and power distribution, and establishes reasonable control strategy. Accomplishment of drivetrain configuration and establishment of control strategy establish the basic for parameter selection and matching.Secondly, based on the basic theory analysis, the method of parameter design on HEV drivetrain is presented on the basis of summarizing correlative data, and this paper carries on matching analysis of QR-HEV drivetrain parameter by making use of the method. Rationality of method of parameter design is validated on the flat roof of ADVISOR2002 by an example of QR-HEV. The results of simulation calculation indicate that QR-HEV has the same dynamic performances as conventional vehicle, and fuel consumption of UDDS and HWFET driving cycle is decreased by 27.2% and 6.9% compared with conventional vehicle.Finally, according to the working characteristic of HEV, the problem of optimization matching of drivetrain parameter is presented, and this paper builds the corresponding objective function and constraint equation. The objective function is optimized by adopting sequential quadratic programming (SQP), and the optimal results of powertrain parameter are solved.
