As the highway construction develops rapidly in our country, it extends tomountainous areas and other areas with complicated situations. In the process of highwayconstruction, a lot of highway slope will be met.The stability of highway slope isinfluenced by slope geotechnical property, geological conditions and the externalenvironment (such as seismic load, etc.).When it comes to slope whose stability does notmeet the design requirements, slope protection should be added.In the traditional slopeanti-seismic protection, pseudo-static method is applied to calculate ignoring theearthquake incident angle, slope geological stratification, and the slope rate of the top,which can result in an error and cannot meet the design requirements. In this thesis, on thebasis of Shi Yan-Tian Shui Highway,through the engineering survey, theoretical calculationand analysis and evaluation methods, slope anti-seismic retaining protection will beanalyzed. The content can be seen as follows:1. Materials about slope anti-seismic retaining protection both home and abroad are studiedsystematically, and the existing anti-seismic retaining protection measures and itstheoretical calculation method are analyzed and evaluated. Meanwhile, how the factorssuch as the highway slope geological structure, landform, hydrology geology condition,rock mass structure type and seismic incidence angle influence highway slope stability isanalyzed.2. On the basis of studying the materials at home and abroad and the investigation on site,the sliding instability mechanism of highway slope and slope anti-seismic retainingprotection are researched in-depth. Then the mathematical mechanical model andcalculation method of slope anti-seismic retaining protection is proposed, and thecorresponding calculation analysis software is compiled.3. On the basis of the above calculation software, geotechnical property parametersinfluencing the stability of slope, protection measures as well as seismic load are calculatedand analyzed systematically. Highway slope parameters is obtained, and the rules howseismic parameters change under different circumstances are obtained.4. Based on Shaanxi part of Shi-Tian highway engineering as well as seismic safety evaluation of the engineering area, the stability of the three typical slope engineering area isevaluated in consideration with geological exploration, geotechnical parameter samplingtest.
