The Research Of Water Damage Preventive Maintenance Of Ankang Roads

Ankang is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province, and most of its topography aremountains. Because of its special topography and climate conditions, the water damage onroads is seriously. The traditionally countermeasures of road’s water damage are still mainlyin management after the damage already appeared, but it needs larger investment and it alreadyaffects the effective operation of highway and the driving safety.This paper based on the projects of water damage treatment of the three main arterialroads (G210, S207and S310) of Ankang, proceeded a large number of field survey and indoordata collection. Conducted a statistical of the water damage of the three main arterial roads,and analysed the causes of water damage. Based on this, combined with the existingdocuments of water damage of mountain roads, classified the types of water damage of roads,then defined the typical types of water damage of roads of Ankang, including slope washout,water damage of protection works, water damage of drainage system and water damage ofsmall bridges and culverts. The category is further divided into some different subcategories,so that it can give a breakdown of the types of water damage, and provide some guidance forwater damage treatments.The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the risk level of waterdamage of roads in Ankang. Based on this, the preventive maintenances for water damage onthe roads are conducted, of which the risk level is or. Then conducted the research ofpreventive maintenance measures, which is about the four kind of typical water damage ofroads. It includes routine preventive maintenance, special preventive maintenance andcomprehensive preventive maintenance. The special preventive maintenance contains slopeflood disaster preventive maintenance, preventive maintenance for water damage ofprotection works, preventive maintenance for water damage of drainage system andpreventive maintenance for water damage of small bridges and culverts.Finally, combined with the preventive maintenance projects for water damage of roads,studied the implementation process of preventive maintenance. In contrast with generalconservation measures of water damage, analysed the preventive maintenance effects,concluded that it has great economy and feasibility to conduct the preventive maintenance of water damage of roads.
