With the development of the times, people are required to update the increasingmilitary weaponry, not only to meet the technical development of weapons andequipment, technical support and testing of equipment maintenance personnelrequirements are also increasing.Maintenance forces weaponry facing transitions at anytime maintenance support and maintenance support mobility issues, therefore, themaintenance forces testing, performance testing and protection of aircraft electronicequipment put forward higher requirements.In order to protect aircraft electronicequipment testing requirements, improve attendance and combat aircraft, people startedusing special test equipment for aircraft electronic equipment protection for regularchecks to ensure that each one can achieve the desired technical parameters required.Given the complexity of the aircraft airborne equipment, the research group developedairborne electronic automatic test equipment (ATE).This paper studies the avionics ATE RF and microwave signal test systemproblems,to achieve automatic control and ATE systems connected to RF microwavecircuits,designed a digital I/O control airborne electronic equipment ATE microwave-controller. ATE test system according to the characteristics of the test signal, theproposed microwave radio transmission and control signals through the array interfacenot connected directly to the controller and the device under test by microwave,eliminating some of the switching part of the path, reducing signal radiation, mutualinterference and attenuation. Microwave controlled by digital I/O signals through thedriving control of the microwave switch conditioning circuit, the test instruments areconnected to the switching device with a variety of tests.This paper carried out thefollowing research work:1Learn the technical information ATE system to analyze system test missionrequirements, the test requires a clear, relevant technologies involved in learning andfield research.2Analyzes the RF and microwave signal test path, the controller determines themicrowave design ideas based on actual test project requirements.3According to the design requirements for the microwave controller device selection, complete the overall design of microwave controllers, and draw out thehardware circuit.4Of the code requires the controller to control microwave microwave switcheswere designed to provide the basis for coding all need to use the microwave controllertest project groups.5Microwave controller assembly and commissioning, assembly strictly inaccordance with EMC requirements, including layout, grounding, wiring and so on.6Microwave controller usability testing.
