Research And Practice On Planning And Design Of The Township River

According to the definition, types, composition, research survey of townshipriver landscape, the author summed up the characteristics, design principles andmethods of the township river in this paper. The author combined these theories withpractice in the project of landscape planning and design of Maxian river in GaofengTown, Pingba County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, by using principles fromlandscape architecture and landscape ecology in the jobs of analyzing the presentsituation, project positioning, detailed planning, the design of each partition and soon, finally, the ecological, economic, social and cultural value of the township riverhas been improved greatly. The design principle, method and conclusion of thispaper is the supplement and development of the theoretical system of river landscape,and will provide some theoretical and implementation reference for the constructionof township river and sustainable development, accelerating urbanization andmodernization of the township.(1)This paper summarized the related theory of landscape design according tothe progress in the study of landscape design of domestic and international cities,including landscape ecology, landscape planning theory. And then elaborates on theconcept, types, characteristics of the river landscape, discussing its important role inthe development of villages and towns.(2)This paper summed up the elements of the township river landscape and thedesigning principles and methods of it. In principles of ecology, continuity,aesthetics, safety and so on, this paper discussed the methods to solve the problemsexisted in the township river, creating the harmonious development of economy andecology of the township river.(3)Be based on the location, economic structure, cultural resources analysis andsite survey of Maxian river in Gaofeng Town, the author confirmed the developmentorientation of Maxian river as an area for leisure and tourism. According to therelevant laws, design standards, government documents promulgated and implemented to regulate river design, the landscape belt is divided into three majorfunctional areas of “sightseeing agriculture area”,“cultural display area”,“commercial and leisure area” from north to south and then complete the design ofsome typical scenic spots such as “Yao Shan Manor”,“Qian Ou Qi Yun”,“Commercial Street” which are based on the functions and requirements of eachfunction area. Importantly, the planning is premise on the maximum protection of thepresent situation of Maxian river. The traffic of Maxian river landscape belt isdivided into three levels, major trunk roads, sub trunk roads and the trails. Each roadis connected tightly to insure it is convenient for people to get wherever they want. Ittakes the “single” and “multiple” section forms in the vertical design of Maxian riveraccording to the different sections in different periods of different water level. Typesof revetments are mainly natural. The plant configuration forms of the rules andnature are combined in Maxian river landscape belt and the regional characteristic ofplant landscape forms by giving priority to native plant species. Service facilities,including the marking system, bicycle station and public toilets, the reasonabledesign of its position, function and appearance is based on the principle ofpeople-centric and combined with local characteristics.
