Lighting design is usually based on the carrier, namely the original landscape orconstruction. Therefore, it is very important, on the basis of original design andreasonable application of lights, to satisfy the needs of people who do square activitiesat night, to provide reasonable light environments for different parts with different needs,and to function as guidance and assistance in one’s behavioral process. Consequentlythe night scene of leisure square can be truly optimized and improved.ngineeringpractice thesis, which includes five parts:Chapter I is introduction, which generally states the research purpose andsignificance, scope and object, process and methods, relevant research abroad and athome as well as the research questions.Chapter II mainly introduces the leisure square night scene investigation andresearch based on public behavior. It first chooses a relative leisure square as theinvestigative object, researches on the satisfaction degree of night leisure activities andlight environment on different parts of the square by using behavior analysis and thesemantic difference method, which helps to know the people’s demand for theenvironment of night leisure activity. It also analyses the problem demanding promptsolution.Chapter III discusses the night scene creation based on the public behavior. Itconcludes the various methods of night scene creation on leisure square, the elements,basic rule and technical requirements.Chapter IV focuses on the night scene creation practice of Yun Yang citizen culturecenter, which is in charged of the writer. Through sufficient investigation and analysisand based on public behavior method, it creates different square environment to verifythe possibility of the creation method.Chapter V is the conclusion part. It put forwards the limitation and insufficient ofthe thesis.
