Reinforced concrete two-way slab is widely used as structural element in the actual application of engineering. Especially along with the development of long-span and large space buildings, the span of reinforced concrete two-way slab become longer and longer; so to calculate the deflection of slab in normal stage is also often must be carried out. However, there is little research on the serviceability limit states of Reinforced concrete two-way slab in the china. From code of China for design of reinforced concrete structures GBJ10-89in20years ago and code of China for design of reinforced concrete structures GBJ10-2002in10years ago, to code for design of concrete structures GB50010-2010at present, we cannot analyze and calculate the rigidity rules and deflection for reinforced concrete two-way slab correctly.The reason why is that mechanism of reinforced concrete two-way slab is more complex, so the rule of deflections and rigidity for reinforced concrete two-way slab is not visual as one-way slab. Thus, the precise computation of deflections for two-way slab is more difficult to calculate. In a word, in search of the precise computational method of deflection for two-way slab, the researches in the rules of rigidity and curvature of reinforced concrete two-way slab are of necessity.In this paper, the achievements at elastic-plastic analysis of the reinforced concrete two-way slab’s deflection are summarized. According this paper’s research, some research findings can be taken as excellent reference material; but in some way, they are not of great application value to actual project. At same time, the classic theory of the linear elastic slab and the computation of nonlinear finite element analysis are reviewed.In this paper, It is carried on experimental research that the reinforced concrete two-way thin-slab, which received uniform load and simply supported at both ends, designed four pieces of the same slabs which received simply supported at both ends, measured deflection and strain of number of points. The aim is that research rules and feature of rigidity and curvature of two-way slab with simply supported at four ends. According to the experimental researches, we can get a law that is’ Reinforced concrete two-way slab has always been bending moment just caused the curvature of the direction, almost don’t cause in vertical direction of the curvature’.In this paper, anew calculation route about ’curvature-deflection’ was proposed. If we got the curvature distribution of the reinforced concrete two-way slab by rigidity and curvature rules, the new Calculation route will becomes a new way of calculating the deflection for Reinforced concrete two-way slab.
