With the steady improvement of living standards, more and more vehicles have entered the common family, now China is getting into the society of cars. However, with the rapid increase of automobiles and the higher speed, traffic accidents become more frequent. The research of vehicle safety plays a strictly utilitarian role in our society, in fact, breaking and steering system are the most intimately related with vehicle driving safety. So it is indispensable to develop a system which is used to monitor the braking and steering system. This paper offers two-axis accelerometer ADXL202 based on MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) to monitor vehicle braking system in time, and realizes the linkage between the system and Cutting the Screw Thread (CST). The control system is based on MCU AT89S51 as center of control unit, and DC electrical motor as execution component to control impulse pole of CST. During braking, if braking system is broken, MCU AT89S51 drives execution component immediately to control the impulse pole of CST during the braking.According to analyze vehicle braking process, we can get the method which applies the comparison between the value of braking deceleration and threshold to judge whether the brake is broken or not, if ADXL202 detects that the value of deceleration is lower than the threshold, the braking system will be broken, the impulse pole of CST will extend to the end immediately. In contrary, CST is in the vehicle. The paper is focused on hardware design and software design, and utilizes the relevant software to debug and simulate the hardware and software. The debugging and simulation of the system finishes through the software of Keil and Proteus which accomplishes the debugging and simulation respectively. Software programming language adopted C51 high-level programming language.The results show that the research program is achieved. Intelligentization based on CST further shows that CST can protect the life and property in time during the state of danger. Because of the constraints of time and the like, we need further study and improvement in the future.
