The air pollution problem that caused by economic development and rapiding urbanization process has become the urgent environmental problems to be solved recently, in response to building air quality forecast warning system platform of Xuzhou government, our group established a special team to build emission inventory and forecast air quality. Building the atmospheric pollution emissions inventory of Xuzhou has the significance of demonstration and foresee.According to the trace of emissions source, atmospheric pollutant can be divided into point source, line source and surface source, This paper take Xuzhou area source as the research object, based on the year of 2012, Xuzhou area source can be divided into process engineering source, solvent use source, biomass burning, civil fuel combustion sources, waste incineration, agricultural ammonia sources, biological individual source, dust source, biogenic VOCs source. Emission factor method is used to artificial surface source, Glo BEIS model algorithm is used to biogenic VOCs, The papere stablished the emission inventory of surface source in Xuzhou through reading literature domestic and overseas and documents related to the emission factor, collecting activity data of emission source extensively at the same time, including the emission of SO2, NOX, CO, NH3, VOCs, PM10 and PM2.5.Biogenic VOCs emission inventory was calculated by Land Use and Land Cover Change(LUCC)date and meteorological data.The results show that the emission of SO2 is 21.998 thousands tons, NOX is 5.047 thousand tons, NH3 is 104.839 thousands tons, CO is 215.287 thousands tons, VOCs is 259.343 thousands tons, PM10 is 193.245 thousands tons, PM2.5 is 67.676 thousand tons among the atmospheric pollutant emission of artificial surface source in Xuzhou. Emissions of biogenic VOCs is 113 thousands tons, which isoprene is 4.1 thousands tons(3.59%), monoterpenes is 73.7 thousands tons(64.64%), other VOCs is 36.2 thousands tons(31.77%). Emissions of biogenic VOCs has obvious seasonal and daily variation characteristics, the quantity of emissions in summer is significantly higher than other seasons, and it reduces dramatically during the mature period of crops and harvest time; the quantity of emissions increases firstly and then decreases, and it reaches maxium at noon in one day, and the emission of spatial distribution is closely related to the distribution of vegetation.The emission inventory about agriculture and resident in Xuzhou is consistent with MEIC’s, biogenic VOCs estimation results are close to the results of the Hongkong area. To meet the demand of air quality model SMOKE, this research established the source classification code system(SCC), and compile temporal profile and cross reference documents according to the character of emission. In addition, this study distribute the quantity of emission to every town using Arc GIS by processing the economic development and road network data.
