With the constant development of China’s industry, heavy gas leakage accidents happen regularly in recent years, which brought serious impact on the ecological environment, residents’ health and safety, and social stability. This paper focus on the deficiency of heavy gas emergency measure. Pressure water jet technology is applied to the emergency disposal of heavy gas leakage,as well as heavy gas experiment research and numerical simulation.The characteristics of this technology is intrinsically safe and small secondary pollution.In this paper, theoretical analysis, experiment verification and number simulation are combined to conduct the research.First, this thesis has studied the basic theory, two phase jet flow fluid mechanics theory, the basic theory of heavy gas diffusion, and pressure water jet device to disperse the dilution mechanism of heavy gas, then device structure parameters and using conditions on the effect of performance of the disperse dilute heavy gas is analyzed, and then identify the scope of this paper studies parameter based on the literature review. This paper design and make laboratory experiment on carbon dioxide gas release and free diffusion, found out the feasibility of the numerical simulation model is validated through qualitative and quantitative contrast experiment data and the forecasting results of computer simulation.Then use the computer simulation software CFD to study the whole process of Pressure water jet device to disperse dilution of carbon dioxide under different nozzle type, different length of throat, different structure parameters of the diffusion angle and different water pressure.Then Analysis the influence of the internal structure of different device parameters and use conditions of to dispel dilute heavy gas. The study found that the device equipped with cone solid dispel dilute heavy gas effect is better compared with hollow nozzle and nozzle point-blank nozzle;Short pipes device is performance better than long pipes and straight pipes; Among the three diffusion tube angle, 45 ° and 30 ° diffusion tube device effects are basically identical, 60 ° and 15 ° to disperse dilution diffusion tube device of heavy gas effect is poorer; Device performance has improved significantly when water pressure increases from 1 MPa to 4 MPa, but the extent of ascension is decreasing; In order to maximize its effect should according to the actual situation to adjust export orientation of device in the process of use.Then, this paper design and take the pressure water jet device to disperse dilution validation test of carbon dioxide, found the results of the two methods are consistent after comparing the experimental results and numerical simulation results qualitatively.Experimental results showed that the smaller the pressure water jet device suction particle diameter, the larger air volume, the better effect to disperse heavy gas.Finally, using computer numerical simulation of toxic heavy- chlorine gas leak, to predict disperse result of heavy gas dilution, It can be referred to the practical application of pressure water jet device.
