In recent years, the concept of industry 4.0 is widely discussed in China’s manufacturing industry and how to upgrade enterprises ushered in a big discussion. Under this background, a group company in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, combined with their own actual situation, proposed a technical upgrade scenario to meet the needs of the times.At present, the company’s main product is high-precision wire, its production equipment is straightening and cutting machines which have problems such as low efficiency and degree of automation, product quality instability in production process. So, it is urgent to upgrade technology. Therefore, aiming at the above problems, some critical parts of the equipment were analysis and design to upgrade the equipment, improve the degree of automation and product quality.This paper focus on research fixed-length systems and cutting system, analysis and design of the hardware structure of straight cutting machine, hydraulic system and related control systems based on the overall structure of straightening cutting machine. The first is a detailed description of the design about straight cutting machine, including function and working principle of each part, which focuses on fixed-length system works and cutting die of cutting system structure; Second is analysis, design and simulate the hydraulic system of the cutting mechanism to determine the operating parameters; Finally, paper plan to control flow from the technical needs, completed the selection of circuit components and compilation of the PLC program to achieve the integration of electro-hydraulic control when design the control program of the fixed length cutting system. In summary, the design is provide a reference which is more comprehensive and complete to solve current problems of the straightening and cutting machine. |
