Research And Design On Steel Fixed-length Cutting System

This paper has studied and designed a kind of fixed length cutting system forsteel.Including the research and design of structural parts and mathematical modelingof control algorithm,it also has studied and designed the control system and themonitoring system.In the structure system,it has determined the main structure form,includes theconveying mechanism of steel and the rotation mechanism of saw blade and thefeeding mechanism of saw blade.The conveying structure clamps steel with the upperand lower pinch roll,by driving the servo motor to achieve the constant lengthconveying.The cutting blade was driven rotation by the servo motor.The feeding partof saw blade adopted screw nut mechanism,by driving the servo motor to achievevariable speed,and established3D modeling and dynamic simulation by proe.In the control algorithm,it has studied the speed of saw blade rotation and therelationship between feeding speed and the area of cutting.It has designed the controlmodel of length position and velocity model of saw blade rotation and the speed modelof cutting feed,the control system designed based on the establishment of these models.In the control system,it has established a hierarchical control structure,includingPC,it used S7-300as the master controller and S7-200as the slave controller,throughthe configuration design,set the communication protocol and writed the controlprogram,and by using the field bus PROFIBUS to complete the communicationbetween the master controller and the slave controller.System used the Modbuscommunication protocol and instruction library of S7-200to control three servo motorsto achieve functional requirements of the control system.Monitoring system used the WinCC configuration software and communicationprotocol to design the monitor interface of PC.In addition,system has designed thetouch screen,including the interface of parameter input,data display and field control.
