Research On Hetian Carpet Wool Structure Performance And Its Evaluation System

Hetian wool is the main raw material of weaving Hetian handmade carpets, it’s a kind of high-quality carpets material called semi coarse wool, but in recent years,there is no uniform standard of Hetian wool, leading to low price of wool when they sold it,and then low price blow to the herdmen’s enthusiasm to foster Hetian sheep,and due to lack of Hetian carpet wool standard. In order to reduce the cost, carpet factory use other heterogeneous wool or recycled wool to product carpets, affecting the quality of the Hetian carpet seriously, damaging reputation of Hetian carpets,therefore, we research on Hetian wool and Hetian carpet, do some element task for local animal Husbandry Institute, herdsmen to foster a better foundation to do the work of Hetian sheep, at the same time, to provide theoretical basis for the improvement of the standard and the establishment of new standards.By comparing the properties of original Hetian wool and improved Hetian wool,we knew that the original Hetian wool and improved Hetian wool samples contain down hair, two typical fiber, coarse, dead hair, and they are mainly composed of down hair and two typical fiber, before and after the improvement, Hetian wool are mainly composed of the down hair and two typical fiber, original Hetian wool’s content in down hair and two typical fiber was lower than that of the improved, coarse and dead wool’s content was more than that of improved Hetian wool, staple length of original Hetian wool is shorter than improved Hetian wool staple length, improved fiber significantly longer,it is the main reason that Hetian carpet float less, down hair loss rate is low and long cannot be stepped on, improved wool before the fineness of down hair and two typical fiber than the improved, improved Hetian wool affected the softness of the carpet, the compression elasticity of improved Hetian wool is decreased, value of brightness(L) before and after improvement, there was no significant difference between the Wht value of the white degree, after the improvement, the YI value becomes smaller.By comparing the structure and properties of spring wool and autumn wool, it is concluded that the content of the wool and the two typical fiber and the wool cutting in spring are relatively small, and the content of dead hair is more. The content of dead hair is more. And the crimp elastic recovery rate of Hetian wool cutting in autumn is low, lower than the average recovery rate of the wool cutting in spring,Hetian wool cutting in spring is better than the wool cutting in autumn. The staplelength of Hetian wool cutting in spring was significantly longer than that of the wool cutting in autumn, and the wool coefficient of variation of the wool cutting in spring is small, and the length of the fiber was stable. In Hetian carpet factory, mixed use of the wool cutting in spring and the wool cutting in autumn in the proportion of 3:7, the influence on the quality of ordinary handmade carpet is not obviously, reduce the cost of the raw material of carpet weaving, making full use of the wool cutting in autumn.In order to understand the differences in the performance between Hetian carpet wool and other carpet wool, we test and analysis Hetian wool, Kazak wool and Bashibai wool. we get that Hetian wool is mainly composed of down hair and two typical fiber, Bashibai wool and Kazak wool is mainly composed of coarse and down hair, the content of down hair of Hetian wool is between Kazak wool and Bashibai wool.Kazak down hair’s content exist significant difference. Hetian wool ’s staple length is longer and down hair’s length was significantly longer than that of Bashibai wool and Kazak wool, Hetian wool’s down hair length in variation is larger, Hetian wool’s coarse fineness is rougher than Bashibai wool slightly, is less than Kazak wool,and the difference is bigger. Hetian down hair fineness value is maximum, Bashibai sheep wool is after, Hetian wool’s Wht and L value are better than the Bashibai sheep wool and Kazak wool, the value of YI was significantly lower than the Bashibai wool and Kazak wool.Hetian wool down hair’s scales arrange like ring irregularly,the overlapping part is long, two typical fiber and coarse’s arrange like interlaced ring, the overlapping part is short. Scales look like corrugated and scaly, dead hair’s scales arrange interlaced. The scales of the wool are whole thin, large, the edges are relatively clear, the surface of the scales is smo oth, the edges of the edges are small, and the scales are tightly wrapped outside the wool. Bashibai wool of coarse scales arrange interlaced, the scale was the tile shape,the boundaries are not clear, down hair arrange like ring, the edge of scales are smooth, Alice feet small, scales on the surface is smooth.On the basis of research, it’s found that there are some deviations in the existing standards, so we make some suggestions in part for reference, and it is found that there are some differences between Hetian wool standard and carpet wool standards,in order to improve the Hetian carpet quality. Therefore, we think that it need to add a Hetian carpet wool standard, and we have preliminarily worked out the Hetian carpets with wool(wash hair) standard.
