Large horizontal three-dimensional knitting machine belongs to high-end textile equipments and is widely used, specially,the bevel gear driving system of it,is the core component. In the application of modern engineering, gear transmission is also the most commonly used.As one of the most important mechanical transmission, gear transmission is the main part of the mechanical equipment. A complete bevel gear transmission system is a small complex mechanical system,including all kinds of parts,such as gear, a transmission shaft, lubricating system and supporting frame components and working condition is complex.So its design is reasonable, and directly affects the motion performance of the whole equipment. When the bevel gear transmission system is working, due to the impact of changes in the external load(speed and output torque), gear processing, assembling and gear meshing stiffness of time-varying, all kinds of unknown impact,heavy base pressure and friction rotating side heat factors, transmission system will produce the corresponding error, vibration and thermal effect aspects of the problem.As a research subject,design and analysis of bevel gear transmission system of the large horizontal stereo weaving equipment relates to the method and theory with modern mechanical design theory, design of mechanical precision, the modern vibration theory, theoretical analysis,finite element numerical simulation and so on. The main research contents are as follows:Firstil, according to the requirements of knitting machine of bevel gear transmission system,complete the overall layout design.Secondly, design bevel gear transmission system of knitting machine.The whole structure of the system is divided into transmission unit, lubrication system and the supporting unit,three modules, and detailedly designed.Finally, error analysis, vibration analysis and thermal analysis of the transmission system were finished, mainly including gear manufacturing error and assembly error analysis, building mechanical theoretical mode and solving, and ANSYS static analysis, modal analysis and dynamic response analysis, heat analysis of bearing outer ring.
