| With the development of economy and the advancement of science and technology, automation equipment has found an increasingly wide utilization in all fields. As a very important production of the textile industry, the pagoda-shaped sewing threads are still packed manually at present. With the growing demand for quantity and quality of the pagoda-shaped sewing threads, manual packaging cannot be able to meet the needs of industrial production. Therefore, the implementation of automatic packaging equipment is more and more important.Through analysis of the manual packaging process, an automatic packaging production line for the pagoda-shaped sewing threads is proposed in this paper. The proposed production line is referred to the heat shrinkable packaging production line for milk tea packaging. And the layout of the production line is U-shaped. The production line is composed of the pagoda-shaped sewing threads lifting device, automatic sorting line, dual servo pillow packaging machine, and the heat shrinkable machine. According to the production of the pagoda-shaped sewing threads, the workers load the pagoda-shaped sewing threads to the hopper at the bottom of lifting device intermittently. The pagoda-shaped sewing threads are delivered to the automatic sorting line by the lifting device. The automatic sorting line is the crucial part of the pagoda-shaped sewing thread automatic packaging production line. Based on the differential principle and the characteristics of the Pagoda-shaped sewing threads, the mechanical model of automatic sorting line is designed. The automatic sorting line includes distance increasing mechanism among pagoda-shaped sewing threads, excluding mechanism for interference pagoda-shaped sewing threads, direction changing mechanism, transport direction changing mechanism, distance decreasing to zero mechanism and distance increasing to the same value mechanism. A dual servo pillow packaging machine is designed based on the current pillow type packaging machine. The machine can achieve the precise control of the position between the red signs of packaging films and Pagoda-shaped sewing threads, and make sure the transverse sealing knife cutting on the red signs. Based on PLC control and servo drive technology, electrical control system is designed which has start, stop, counting of package, alarm and other functions.Some performance tests of the prototype of automatic packaging production line are conducted. The automatic sorting line is composed of six mechanisms, the performances are evaluated respectively. The experimental results show that each mechanism can complete the corresponding function effectively, and make a mess of Pagoda-shaped sewing threads be sorted to a straight column coordinately. In the packaging performance tests of dual servo pillow packaging machine, the transverse sealing lines always remain on the red signs, which show that the performances of the dual servo pillow packaging machine is reliable and the position errors between the red signs and Pagoda-shaped sewing threads is corrected in real time. Finally, ten groups of packing performance tests are conducted for the production line. The rate of Pagoda-shaped sewing threads packed which meet the requirement of customers reaches to 91.2%. |
