With the increase demand of coal,the demands for modern equipments also increase sharply.In order to improve the efficiency of work,the flame-proof trackless glue-wheel vehicle has been widely used in the mine.The equipment is safe and flexibility. The efficiency of the equipment is five times than traditional equipments. The Trackless glue-wheel vehicle brings us convenience, however,exhausts gas seriously affects the quality of the environment. At the same time,the gas(CO) maybe harmful to the staff’s physical and mental health. Therefore,researching the laws of the rubber-tyred vehicle emissions is important and has practical significance.This paper introduces the generating mechanism of the gas(CO),the harms to the person’s health and focuses on the diffusion regularity of CO under the conditions of different working conditions to obtain the safety limits with the rubber-tyred vehicle.Based on the CFD theory and put the material roadway of XieGou mine coal as the research object,the physical models of the rubber-tyred vehicle and roadway are established with GAMBIT software,with FLUENTUDF define macro defining the rubber tire vehicle speed moving boundary condition and the rubber-tyred vehicle movement is simulated by dynamic mesh method.At the same time,this paper describes in detail the process of numerical simulation and analyzes the diffusion regularity of CO.This paper describes the laws of CO emissions when the vehicle keep moving before the wind,moving against the wind and parking in the cave.Affected by the concentration gradient,first of all,CO diffuses to the axial direction and radial direction rapidly, then,spreads mainly affected by effective amount of wind.Moving before the wind,when the wind speed is less than the running speed, the gas will spread in the front of the body, with the same running speed and wind speed,the area of CO concentration higher than 24 ppm is the largest,when the vehicle speed is faster than the wind speed, the area of CO concentration in excess is minimum.Moving against the wind,the direction of the effective wind and the vehicle traveling are the same,which will speed up the diffusion of CO.With the increase of the vehicle’s speed,CO diffuses much faster.When the vehicle enters the cave in the forward direction,CO spreads fast and the speed depends on the air volume in roadway.When the vehicle enters the cave in the backward direction,CO spreads difficultly. In order to ensure safety,the staffs should keep the vehicles enter the cave in the forward direction.Simulated the laws of CO distribution when the WC8 is parking in the cave for two minutes,then read the nine points from A to I of the CO concentration.Compared with the actual monitoring value,the results are approximately thesame,which indicates that the result of simulation is better. The simulation provides the theoretical basis for the effectively preventing vehicle exhaust gas to damage people’s health.
