Carding machine is a textile machinery which plays an important role in the cotton spinning process,its function is to card,impurity and blend the cotton roll and make the hybrid fiber into uniform cotton sliver.Cylinder is the main carding part of carding machine,its 0.2 mm distant from licker-in, cover plate and doffer during work,the uniformity of spacing direct influence carding quality of fiber layer.Accordingly,enough stiffness and small deformation during work are the most basic requirements to cylinder.Qingdao hongda textile machinery company is the leading enterprises in the domestic textile industry,which developed the domestic first 1500 mm wide in width carding machine(model JWF1209)by way of widen the cylinder which was an effective method to raise the output of carding.Thus,this paper based on the carding machine,model JWF1209,established the mathematical model, in the first place is theoretical analysis of it, which obtained deformation formula and stress formula of cylinder, analyze the dynamic balance of cylinder based on the calculated characteristic parameter of carding machine.After use Pro/E to modeling the cylinder, associate the model with ANSYS workbench to complete the numerical simulation analysis, obtained the deformation diagram and equivalent stress from the cylinder in distributed tension load and common load in distributed tension and gravity,and analyzed the deformation and stress which can provide basis for later structure improvement.Secondly, according to the theoretical analysis obtain the preferred diameter of cylinder,under the premise of guaranteed carding quality to prove the cylinder’s structure and characteristic parameter based on model JWF1209.Then analyze improved cylinder’s deformation and stress in different load, draw a conclusion after make comparative analysis with the before improvement of cylinder’s structure.Simultaneously,develop vibration analysis of cylinder after rotating speed is improved,the first ten order modes of cylinder under normal working conditions are obtained by the modal analysis of the prestress to ensure that the working speed of the cylinder to avoid the inherent frequency.Once more,optimum analysis of cylinder is made that can obtain the relationship between the important dimension, the working speed and the maximum stress and deformation of the cylinder,the optimal size of the structure of the cylinder is obtained by the use of Goal Driven Optimization tools. Finally select steel fiber reinforced concrete with outstanding performance as optimization material for cylinder roll.According to Simulation function of ANSYS workbench which can obtain the static and dynamic performance of cylinder of steel fiber reinforced concrete.
