Nowadays the production of natural protein products such as the wool and silk is not high, which makes their price quiet expensive and can not meet consumer’s needs. So developing the renewable synthetic protein fiber will have good potential development. Our country is a large producer of rice and other grain, which contains large of protein. In that case, the synthesis of renewable plant protein fiber has a sustainable development. While there are larges of low-quality wool which can not be used in wearing. Making full use of the wool wastes will conserve resources and increase their value. Studies have shown that the regenerated wool protein modified viscose fiber and regenerated rice protein modified viscose fiber contains many amino acids and protein which have functions of skin-friendly, moisture wicking, anti-radiation, anti-bacterial and so on. So developing its knitted fabrics will have great value and broad prospect. This paper focused on the properties of two protein modified viscose fibers, four kinds of protein modified blended yarns(18.3tex wool protein/acrylic /viscose(20/40/40), 17.7 tex rose/chitin/cotton(30/40/30), 1.8tex Rose/cotton(30/70),17.7tex Rose/cotton(30/70)strands), knitting of three kinds of blended yarns which are 18.3tex wool protein/acrylic/viscose,27.7tex Rose/chitin/cotton and 17.7tex rose/cotton s, the dyeing technique and performance of three knitted fabrics and three fabrics for comparison. In order to solve the hyperchromatic dying problem of the wool protein fiber blended fabrics, the finishing process of three protein fiber blended fabrics were studied. Firstly the pre-treatment of fabrics was done before dyeing. Then the single factor analysis and the orthogonal method were used to select the best plan. Finally, the dying plan of wool protein blended fabrics were selected, and the results were as follows: cationic dyes firstly used(cationic red X-GRL(2.0%),acrylic leveler YZ-2002(2%), HAC(6.65ml/L),bath ratio(1:20),heating rate(1℃/min),the holding temperature(98℃)), and then reactive dyes :reactive red 3BS(3.0%),sodium sulfate(60g/L),soda ash(30g/L), bath ratio(1:15));the dyeing plan of rose/chitin/cotton blended fabric is reactive red DSW(3.0%), sodium sulfate(50g/L), sodium carbonate(20g/L),bath ratio(1:10);the dyeing plan of rose/cotton blended fabric is reactive red DSW(3.0%), sodium sulfate(50g / L), sodium carbonate(15g / L), bath ratio(1:10). Finally, fastness to washing and rubbing were tested to evaluate the dyeing effect.According to the development directions of two proteins raw materials, three kinds of common knitted fabrics on the market were selected to make comparison of wearability performance with protein fabrics. Fuzzy matter-element evaluation method were chosen to compare the comprehensive performance of six kinds of fabrics. The comparison results were as follows. The results showed that the comprehensive performance of wool protein blended fabric was the best, the second was the modal fabric and the third one was the rose fabric. Among rose protein fiber blended fabric and comparison fabrics, the cotton fabric was the best, the second was the rose/cotton blended fabric and the third one was the rose/chitin/cotton blended fabric.
