With the continuous development of social economy, the technology continues to progress, people on the furniture style demands more and more. Now panel furniture Edge banding machine through to complete, but the type and extent of edge technologically advanced machines are very different. Edge can be divided according to types:straight and curved edge banding machine edge banding machine, according to the technical sophistication can be divided into:manual sealing machine, semi-automatic and fully automatic machine Edge banding machine. It is now the demand for furniture is concerned, there is no one device can meet the high quality and high efficiency and processing edge characteristics, therefore, to design a practical production to meet the requirements of edge banding machines are very necessary.In this paper, the structure and process of traditional linear edge banding machine, edge banding machines and CNC multi-function curve edge machining centers were studied and profiled sheet edge processing technology, based on the six-station CNC curve Edge machines the overall layout and structure design. Six-position curve Edge CNC machine work by the Edge head, thick head repair work, finishing work head, head profiling work, finish work head, feeding table, discharge table, bottom feeder and six stations rotary table components. According profiled sheet edge processing technology and order, sequentially processed sheet is finalized, tinkering with Edge machining, finishing machining edge band, edge band edge profiling and polishing belt. Six-position curve Edge CNC machine can automatically on the profiled plate, cutting, automatic edge banding, trimming, profiling and polishing, and for which the main structural features of the Edge working head, trimming the working head, bottom feeder, rotary table designed.Using Solidworks software six-station CNC curve edge banding machine for 3 D modeling of the engine. ANSYS Workbench software for machine chuck arm up and down, turn rotary table Ⅱ on the arm and the shaft statics analysis, from the analysis of stress, strain and deformation cloud can be seen that the intensity and rigidity design parts can meet the design requirements, to prove the rationality of the design. Using the Adams software to the sealing side work head movement simulation analyses, from the analysis of the displacement, velocity and acceleration curve can see head sealing side work in special-shaped plate largest stress, on a larger radius of curvature changes in special-shaped plate curvature radius less or no change the location of the minimum stress.With six-station CNC curve edge banding machine control system has carried on the preliminary design, completed the selection of electrical components, schematic diagram of the electrical design and drawing, the writing of the PLC program, etc.In this paper, the designed six-station CNC curve edge banding machine can meet the sealing side of large plate processing, at the same time also can ensure the quality of high sealing side. This design not only can meet actual production needs, but also can promote the continuous development of curve edge banding technique.
