| Cutting,edge sealing,and drilling are the three main processes in the production of panel furniture,among which edge banding is the key process that affects the visual quality of panel furniture.Therefore,the edge banding machine is an important piece of equipment in panel furniture production.For physical long edge sealing,the minimum width of the workpiece processed by the conventional edge banding machine is 60 mm,and the minimum length is 300 mm.However,the width of the workpiece is less than 60 mm in the kitchen cabinet body board,accounting for about 22%,and in the wardrobe cabinet body board,accounting for about 26%.At present,there are some edge banding machines for narrow plate in the domestic market that are used in the width range of 40~60 mm,which are prone to problems such as deviation of plate during transportation and plate end with straight angle.In addition,as there is no device to track the end of the plate,it is only suitable for thin edge sealing,with the thickness of the edge sealing strip being less than 0.8 mm.According to the demand for narrow plate edge banding and existing problems with edge banding machine for narrow plate,the edge banding machine for narrow plate with tracking round angle device was studied.Research and design of key components in edge banding machine for narrow plate.This provides the theoretical basis for the successful development of fully functional narrow plate edge banding machine in China,solving the shortage of the existing narrow plate edge banding machines,and meet the requirements of narrow board edge banding for panel furniture production.In this paper,the method of Solid Works 3D modeling and Ansys Workbench finite element simulation analysis were used to systematically study and analyze the edge banding machine for narrow plate with the function of tracking circle,focusing on the research and design of the key components of the edge banding machine for narrow plate.First from the development of the current situation to find out the problem and put forward solutions,then the overall design scheme of the narrow plate edge banding machine was determined and the key components were studied and designed,finally through calculation and simulation check to ensure that the design meets the requirements.The main research content and results are as follows:(1)The main technical indexes of the narrow plate edge sealing machine and the overall structure of the narrow plate edge sealing machine with tracking round angle device were determined.Through structural analysis and design calculation,the minimum size of 300×35×12mm plate edge sealing requirements were met.(2)Combining with the machining process and working principle,based on minimum size of narrow plate,the key components of narrow plate edge sealing machine were analyzed and studied by three-dimensional modeling.The Structural design and design calculation and type selection of main components were carried out.Three-dimensional virtual assembly was carried out after the parts modeling was completed.Theoretical analysis and structural simulation showed that these devices can meet the edge sealing requirements of the smallest narrow plate workpiece.(3)The force of 300×35×12 mm narrow plate in the process of conveying and processing and the friction generated by the conveying pressing device were analyzed and calculated.The results showed that the maximum force of the narrow plate in the direction parallel to the feed was 680 N.To prevent plate movement,the static friction force must be at least 1488 N.The designed conveying and pressing device could produce a static friction force of 2112 N on the narrow plate,which could prevent the deviation of the minimum narrow plate.(4)The static analysis of the main stressed parts of the machine frame,anteroposterior cutting end bracket,tracking column,and side blocking parts showed that the maximum stresses were37.78 MPa,4.21 MPa,6.10 MPa,and 13.79 MPa,respectively,which were lower than the yield limit strength of the selected materials,so the stresses met the design requirements.The maximum shape variables of the narrow plate edge banding machine frame,anteroposterior cutting end bracket,tracking column,and side blocking parts were 0.117 mm,0.009 mm,0.003 mm,and 0.005 mm,respectively.The deformation was small and should not affect the normal operation of the equipment.The results showed that the parts had sufficient strength and stiffness.(5)The modal analysis of the key parts of the anteroposterior cutting end bracket and the tracking column was carried out,and the first 6 natural frequencies and natural modes were extracted.It was found that the natural frequencies obtained by analyzing the anteroposterior cutting end bracket and the tracking column were much higher than the maximum external excitation frequency of 200 Hz when working.The results showed that the device would not produce resonance during operation,and its structure was stable and reliable,which verified the rationality of the design. |
