| With the rapid development of economy and the impact of multi-culture, various fabrics compete to attract consumers’ attention, and a wide variety of fabrics are mainly used in clothing. However, more and more modern people are not satisfied with the phenomenon of machine production,but accept products made by cotton and hemp with handle temperature, and cotton-ramie fabrics are favored by people because of its characteristics of natural, sample and integration with emotion. Firstly, with a long history and profound cultural emotion, cotton-ramie fabrics are concerned by more fashion designers. Secondly, cotton-ramie fabrics are integrated with Chinese traditional craft, there is a wide prospect for fashion design innovation and the cotton-ramie fabrics application. Cotton-ramie fabrics integrated with Chinese traditional craft can bring new creation inspiration in clothing design for clothing designer, and inspire fashion designers to open a new design pattern in fashion design. Base on the main line of application of cotton-ramie fabrics in modern clothing, this paper explores the manifestation of form and development prospects of cotton-ramie fabric in modern clothing by analyzing the infinite possibility of combination of cotton-ramie fabrics, dyeing process, and embroidery. In the first part, this paper introduces cotton fiber, ramie fiber and explore their origin and characteristics. In the second part, this paper elaborates the dyeing process of cotton-ramie fabrics, introduce the origin and characteristics of the dyeing process in detail, and analyzes domestic and international cotton textile clothing brand case. The third part mainly describes the cotton-ramie fabrics combine with embroidery, introduces the origin and characteristics of embroidery technology in detail, and the application of embroidery in cotton garment. And the fourth part is the research on the advantages and disadvantaged of cotton-ramie fabric in the future development and the prospects. |
