| In this article, the finishing and dyeing of pure thin ramie fabric were studied in detail. The influence of many factors on the stability of morphological structure of thin ramie fabric was discussed, such as yarn counts of ramie fiber, degumming of ramie fabric, pretreatment processes of thin ramie cloth, dyeing processes, aftertreatment processes, production apparatus and so on. The results showed that those reasonable technical dyeing and finishing processes of high-counts ramie fiber with good effect of degumming contributed to the dyeing and finishing of thin ramie fabric. The degumming process and other dyeing production processes of ramie fabric were studied and the yarn count of ramie fiber was also optimized. In addition, the influence of types and dosage of durable press finishing agents, fiber protecting agents, softening agents and biological enzyme on the dyeing and finishing effect of thin ramie fabric was studied. The best dyeing and finishing process conditions were optimized. The effect of batch production was better, and the size stability of cloth, the stability of morphological structure, breaking strength and colorfastness of finished fabric all reached practical and environmental protection requirements. Moreover, the grade of thin ramie cloth was also enhanced.
