PET is an excellent plastic material which is widely used in food industry as a daily food packaging. PET material contains a certain amount of ultraviolet absorbers. The presence of ultraviolet absorbers may result in migration risks for a long-term storage.The migration of 3 UV absorbers in PET bottles for oil was studied in this paper, and the corresponding mathematical migration model was established to simulate and analyze the actual migration behavior, six commercial cooking oils’ safety also were evaluated.1、A qualitative and quantitative analysis for oxybenzone, UV531, UV327 in PET bottles for oil was made in this paper, by selected isooctane as fat simulation, with the solvent extraction and ultrasonic assisted extraction method, combined with HPLC. Three kinds of ultraviolet absorbers were all showed a good linear relationship at 0.05-5 mg/L. The detection limits between 0.0007 mg/kg to 0.0013mg/kg, and the recoveries between 68.9% and 84.1%, with RSD<5%. The method is characteristic for safe, high sensitivity, low detection limit, it can meet the analytical testing requirements of ultraviolet absorbers in commercial PET bottles for oil.2、The impact of migration for oxybenzone was showed in the migration test results by order:migration temperature> solid-liquid ratio> migration time> particle size, and the interaction between two factors there had no significant effect on migration (P>0.1). The impact of migration for UV531 by order:migration temperature> solid-liquid ratio> migration time> particle size, and the migration of temperature and particle size had a significant impact on the interaction of migration (0.05>P>0.01). The impact of migration for UV327 by order:solid-liquid ratio> migration temperature> diameter> migration time, and the migration of temperature and solid-liquid ratio had a significant influence on its migration (0.05>P>0.01)3、In migration mathematical model, The partition coefficient was calculated by definition, and the diffusion coefficient estimated by Brandsch model, then the Maple software was used to predict and analyze the value of the actual migration. The actual migration assay values predicted by the model are basically the same trend, so that the model can accurately predict the migration of ultraviolet absorber in PET bottles for oil.4、The safety evaluation was taken for six selected commercial cooking oil in this paper. The result implied that, within 12 months, at 60 ℃, migration of UV absorber for cooking oil is permitted by national standards, to a certain extent safety. In six kinds of edible oil, the rapeseed oil was more secure by the lower amounts of migrants.
