The Design Of Modern Vases Based On Bamboo And Chinaware Combination

Along with the improvement of the quality of life, people attached increasingly importance on indoor-green-furnishings, and vases are paying more important role. This dissertation is going to analyze vases which are made by bamboo and chinaware materials, and research the method of combining two of them to design functional, beautiful, innovative and interesting vases.First of all, rely on relevant documental researches and real cases, the research has shown that various bamboo crafts and chinaware can applied in design of modern vases with different decorative features. Then rely on researching and analyzing, investigate the market condition and application of vases, and predict its develop tendency. Finally, in the way of induction and deduction, analyze combining methods of bamboo and chinaware in detail. On that basis, creating practical design plans of bamboo & chinaware combination.The research compares and analyzes the application of vases in indoor-furnishing space. Apply mountain as an element with methods of reference and transplant, and utilize ways of insert, connect and glue on the structure, the series of bamboo& chinaware vases Mount·bamboo & chinaware has been completed. Apply water as an element with methods of transplant and design,and utilize ways of embed and mortise-and-tenon joint, the series of bamboo& chinaware vases Ink·bamboo & chinaware has been completed. With technical processes of slip casting, bamboo carving and Xiaoyu Bambooware, the two series vases above have made practically, which achieved the ultimate goal of the research, and provided reference significance for creative vases-design of bamboo & chinaware combination.
