In recent years, many researches have focused on the syntheses, crystal structures and properties of crystal material due to their fascinating structural diversity and some potential applications such as gas storage, adsorption and separations, catalysis, magnetism, optical, etc. In this paper, we chose a pyridine carboxylate ligand, N-acetic-5-oxygen nicotinic acid(H2L), to solvothermally react or hydrothermally react with different metal ions, and obtained seven new MOCPs successfully. They are shown as follows:[Pb4(μ3-O)2L2]n(1)[Pb3(μ4-O)2L]n(2)[SrL(H2O)5]n (3)[Ba(HL)2(H2O)6]n (4){[La(HL)2(NO3)H2O]·1.5H2O}n (5){[Ce(HL)2(NO3)H2O]·H2O}n (6){[Srn2(HL)4(NO3)2H2O]·3H2O}n (7)The crystal structures of MOCPs 1-7 were measured by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses, and other properties were characterized by elementary analysis, IR analysis and thermogravimetric analysis. The luminescent properties of some MOCPs were also studied. The successful syntheses of the series of title MOCPs, not only enriched the types of MOCPs, but also provided necessary experimental basis for the study of the syntheses of MOCPs and the relationship between structures and properties.
