Study On Wireline Formation Testing Technology

Mastering all pressures and fluid properties of each reservoir is very important in the oil field exploration and development and layered testing and looking for stratified residual oil is a difficult technical problem which is engaged to be solved for long-term in oilfield exploration and development. After entering the high water cut period,especially aterflooding reservoir,different vertical reservoir physical property in development unit results in different vertical harvest degree and serious interlayer contradiction of reservoir,so mastering the reservoir oil water distribution data is urgent.Wireline layered testing system uses electric hydraulic control double packer for packing single productive interval into a separate testing unit according to underground reservoir conditions and test requirements,to obtain dynamic data of stratified pressure,real fluid sample of layer,thereby seeking reservoir physical and liquid property parameters in order to provide detailed and reliable geological dynamic data for capacity prediction,layer allocation,profile control and water shutoff and formation measure transformation.Key technical problems,such as rapid layer pressure monitoring of reservoir and fluid sampling,are solved through application of wireline layered testing system and interpretation and evaluation method,which meets geological requirements of reservoir vertical physical properties understanding for geological dynamic monitoring personnel and realizes the technical leap from the general exploitation to the layered fine development of production wells and provides strong technical support for tapping potentials,water controlling oil increase and increasing and stabilizing yield in high water cut stage oilfield.Underground and ground instrument composition of wireline layered testing system,working principle of each part of the instrument,data interpretation,and site application examples etc. are described in detail in this paper.
