Delineation Of Ecological Control Area Of Mining City Based On Land Use

Mining city with reckless predatory exploitation of resources has caused a series of ecological problems such as ground subsidence, destruction of vegetation, and it has received increasing attention. It is important significance to explore the effective ways of establishing ecological control area through the analysis of urban land use change for solving the ecological problem of mining city and improving the regional ecological environment.Taking the mining city of Wu’an, Hebei Province as a case study, this paper selects the mineral resources distribution belt as the breakthrough to analysis the urban land use structure change in gradients and stages. And further reveals the difference of urban land use change intensity and land use change rules in different gradients based cyclical change in exploitation of mineral resources.From the connotation of ecological land, this paper describes the ecological basic characteristics and divides the ecological land types in Wu’an, then draws the urban ecological land spatial distribution map. Combined with original research results about measure of importance of ecological land from foreign and domestic scholars, this paper attempts to quantize the importance and divide the important level of ecological land from the landscape connectivity.Considering the influence on the ecological environment of road, this article analyzes its ecological disturbance in different functional zone on the basis of clearing the road profiles. The research results show that the road network play a significant role on regional landscape fragmentation; and the ecological disturbance intensity is different in each functional zone. It may be connected with the road function and its density.Considering the land use change, ecological land important level and urban road network ecological disturbance, this paper establishes the system to identify the ecological control core area, and uses the morphological spatial pattern analysis to assess the identification effect, finally gets the scope of ecological control area. The result indicates that the ecological area is far away from the frequent human activities, and it can effectively avoid the direct conflicts of interests with economic development. The main land types in the ecological control area are forest land, unutilized land, cultivated land and grass land. The construction land is a little. So there will be less resistance in future ecological control and ecological construction process. The system is greatly practically significant which identifies the ecological control area based on the core patches, and it can effectively reduce and weaken the contradiction and achieve the combination between economic development and ecological protection.
