As a very important fine chemicals, The use of the Cyanuric acid is limited. A new synthetic process of cyanuric acid has been designed. It can be utilized as a carbon dioxide storage products:when synthesing a certain amount of cyanuric acid, ia can archive the same amount of carbon dioxide. It is the world’s largest carbon dioxide per unit of product storage stable solid product. its use needs to develop Urgently. Cyanuric acid itself can be used as a slow-release fertilizer. Its chemical nature is lively, chemical reactions can occur in pyrolysis, substitution, addition, polymerization and so on. The reaction can be divided into two categories:one is cyanuric acid pyrolysis reaction, the other is the addition of cyanuric acid molecule, substitution and other chemical reactions. This paper studied application performance isocyanate acid. It introduces the basic properties of the isocyanate acid, focuses on the system of cyanuric acid pyrolysis isocyanate acid, and described the process. It is prepared for sodium cyanate by isocyanate acid reacting with sodium hydroxide. At the same time, the optimum conditions are determined. It is discussed about isocyanate reaction with sulfur dioxide in indoor industrial and in applied research.1、The preparation of isocyanate acid by cyanuric acid pyrolysisingIsocyanate acid is prepared by pyrolysising cyanuric acid in self-designed reactors. This chapter focuses on effect of reaction temperature, particle size, flow rate of nitrogen and other factors on the isocyanate acid content. On this basis, it is initially identified for the optimal reaction conditions for preparing isocyanates. That is, the content and yield of isocyanate is high by 120 object cyanuric acid pyrolysing in the nitrogen flow rate 0.2L/min and the reaction temperature is 700 ℃ conditions. Respectively, the content and yield ware 95.69% and 88.60%. The product were respectively collected in the solvent of ethylene and carbon tetrachloride. It was characterized by IR and GC/MS analysis. The atlas showed the products does not contain fulminate, cyanate and other positive.2、The preparation of sodium cyanate by isocyanate acid reacting with sodium hydroxideThis chapter focuses that isocyanate acid is used to prepare sodium cyanate. It is mainly to study the reaction temperature, the mole ratio, mass ratio of solvent to raw material and reaction time affect sodium cyanate content. It is identified for the optimal reaction conditions for preparing sodium cyanates. Namely, under the reaction time 25min, the mole ratio of 2.0:1, the reaction temperature 10℃, solvent mass ratio of 10:1 conditions, the content and yield of sodium cyanate were the highest, 97.58% and 88.83%. The purity of sodium cyanate was analyzed by amount of silver and gravimetric method. It was characterized by infrared, TG-DTA characterization analysis. The results showed the products does not contain urethane, allophanate and ethyl and other positive.3、Discussion abour isocyanate acid reaction with sulfur dioxideThis chapter puts forward a new kind of desulphurization technology. It discussed the reaction of isocyanate acid and sulfur dioxide. Not only it was designed for reaction equipment of the reaction of isocyanate acid and sulfur dioxide in the laboratory, but also experiments were done. Apart from this, the reaction mechanism of isocyanate and sulfur dioxide were discussed.
