Large Landfill Environmental Problems And Management Countermeasures During Different Operation

Continuous economic development and a growing population brought about solid waste disposal problem is the process of urbanization cannot be ignored pressure. Landfill itself in order to prevent its elimination on solid waste generation and construction of environmental pollution, but because of its special nature and it cannot be neglected environmental pollution.The paper was based on the project "Large base solid waste disposal pollution reduction and resource use key technology integration and demonstration" (No.10DZ1200100) by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. In combing historical data analysis, field sampling test data analysis, based on the construction of the landfill closure to the whole process of the main environmental problems and pollution factors were analyzed. The environment continually worsening, then with the implementation of environmental protection measures, the environment quality had improved. The main factors for the pollution of surface water were COD and NH3-N, and the main factors for the pollution of ground water were COD, NH3-N, As, Cd; the malodorous gas emissions achieved standard inside landfill, but the outside was a little bit exceeded. The leachate had high organic load, draining water had high pollution load, expecially for the SS.During the issue, we surveyed the ecology environment of the closure region, survey results show that ecosystem has been some recovery, there were three main types of vegetation. Using aquatic biological indicators to evaluate the environmental, we could know that the surface water pollution was from light to severe. Simultaneously, some area has high ecological risk of Hg,62.5% area has potential ecological risk.This paper studied all production processes, summarized all possible environmental problems, give environmental measures from both pollution control and environmental monitoring.
