The Innovative Design And Application Of Hui’an Women’s Clothing Structure Based On Modern Aesthetic Standards

The apparel of Hui’an women derives from Hui’an women’s feelings about the natural environment and their unique aesthetic standards, and it is the embodiment of such regional cultures as the unique mode of production, customs and arts, which has been formed in the long-term historical development. However, with the economic modernization and people’s life rhythm speeding up, Hui’an women’s traditional dress which was originally used for local production and living already cannot practically meet the needs of Hui’an women’s modern daily dressing. It is also difficult to satisfy modern people’s needs of fashion and popularity aesthetically. Therefore, in order to make the dress adapt to modern people’s production and living style, be integrated with fashionable and popular elements of clothing, be connected with international aesthetic ideas and be handed down through the dressing of the young generation, the current protection and inheritance of the dressing culture of Hui’an women stresses on the investigation of the popular elements, understanding of the aesthetic characteristics of Hui’an women’s clothing, refining the design elements which are suitable for the modern design and making some improvement combined with the living styles and aesthetic standards of modern people especially 18-35-year-old young group.Under such research background, this article discusses two points:the analysis of characteristics of Hui’an women’s dress and improvement on the style and structure. It focuses on the latter. With the topic of "The Innovative Design of Hui’an Women’s Clothing Style under Modern Aesthetic Standards", the author visits Hui’an, makes some investigations, and then sorts out, analyzes and concludes the data of the research, sums up the younger generation’s aesthetic standards to modern Hui’an women’s clothing and combines the result of the research with the innovative design of Hui’an women’s clothing, in the hope that through the improvement of the style and structure, Hui’an women’s clothing will be used in the young Hui’an women’s work and life, which will not only enrich the research of Hui’an women’s clothing culture but also extend the life of national costume.
