The paper use the ecological footprint analysis method, to assessment whether it is in a sustainable range, the significance of this study aims to provide a visual image method about the sustainable development. Through the study of the change on ecological environment of the Yellow River delta efficient ecological economic zone in recent years, can provide a scientific reference for the development in the future, it also has a certain academic value and practical significance about the region to achieve a win-win economy and ecology.The basic content of this paper specifically studies on ecological sustainable development theory, the first is the exposition of concept and connotation,which is illustrated by Marx’s theory of origin of ecological sustainable development, then studies the natural and ecological environment situation about the region,and based on ecological footprint model to count the biological resource consumption accounts and energy consumption, It is concluded that the regional ecological footprint from 2009 to 2013 year,so we must be based on Marx’s ecological philosophy mind to handle of the relationship between human and nature and enhance the development sense of urgency and crisis, centre on the subject about the high efficiency ecological and economic development strengthen the protection in the development, the paper propose the corresponding countermeasures to relieve ecological status, based on the reference about Yangtze River delta and Pearl River Delta, respectively put forward several Measures on the population, ecological energy, land resources, natural wetland protection area, ecological function and the concept of consciousness and other aspects, in order to achieve comprehensive benefits about economy society and ecology.
