| As a new type of sucker rod, the hollow sucker rod has become a kind of important equipment in the development of oil field, such as marginal oil field and difficult oil field to use, because of its unique structure and function. This paper researched the forming and heating treatment process of the forged hollow sucker rods with methods of CAE simulation technology, Parative analysis and material testing. The systematic study of forged hollow sucker rods’ forming process and heating treatment process. It especially analyzed the relationship between the forming size and the temperature and forging force of the CAE simulation in forged hollow sucker rod’s forming process, Also, it focused on the analysis of relationships among process parameters, microstructure, and performance in the forged hollow sucker rods’ heating treatment process. The main results are as follows:To 20 CrMo as raw material, to overall forging type structure and machining method can be produced with the more cost efficiency of hollow sucker rod.It is designed to adopt the first-time gathering and secondary forming in forging process. When the initial mold temperature of forged hollow sucker rods head is 300℃, and the f orging temperature of material is between 950~1150 and the forming force is no less than ℃2.01×105N the first-time gathering material can reach the requirement of 1.5 times wall thickness and performs very well. When the forging temperature of material is between 930~1050℃, and the forming force is no less than 1.6×105N,the final forging forming can reach the rods head design requirement.It is designed to adopt the first-time gathering and secondary forming in forging process. When the initial mold temperature of forged hollow sucker rods coupling is 300℃, and the forging temperature of material is between 914~1110℃, and the forming force is no less than 2.01×105N, the first-time gathering material can reach the requirement of 1.5 times wall thickness and performs very well. When the forging temperature of material is between 995-1130℃, and the forming force is no less than 2.54×105N, the final forging forming can reach the rods coupling design requirement.The field test shows that when heating temperature is 880 and heating time ℃is 68 min with water as medium for quenching treatment, combined with subsequent processing, under the 550 temper temperature with℃ 120 min heating time conditions, can be obtained from the small, uniform distribution of the tempered rope’s body,the mechanical performance testing all reached the requirements of SY/5550-2012 HOLLOW SUCKER ROD and oil field application. |
