| High temperature corrosion exists in all aspects of the modern industry, coating is commonly used as an anti-corrosion method. Because epoxy resin has many excellent properties, it is widely used in corrosion resistant insulation coating field, but there are some shortcomings for epoxy resin, such as poor high temperature resistant, poor toughness, and very brittle. To make up for the shortcomings of the epoxy resin and further improve the performance of epoxy resin coatings, organic silicone polymer was used to modify epoxy resin to improve the toughness, heat resistance, corrosion resistance of the epoxy resin coating, it has important significance.Organic silicon polymer which has better performance was firstly synthesized in this subject and then it was used to modify epoxy resin E-20. With the modified resin as substrate, joining all kinds of fillers, additives and curing agent to the preparation of coating, and all the related test.With methyl triethoxy silane, dimethyl 2 ethoxy silane, phenyl triethoxy silane as raw materials, under the action of HCl, organic silicon polymer was synthesized through hydrolysis condensation reaction. Various factors that affect product performance were studied through orthogonal test and the better synthesis process was obtained: R/Si was 1.5, Ph/R was 0.3, reaction temperature was 70℃, water consumption was 70% of total water consumption for the theory, pH was 3, the stirring speed of 400 r/min. The product synthesized in this condition can tolerate high temperature of 520℃.Homemade organic silicon polymer was used to modify epoxy resin E-20, the compatibility of the epoxy resin and organic silicone polymer was improved greatly. The method of controlling variables respectively from mass ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time, to do single factor analysis, the product mechanical properties and corrosion resistance test of coating were carried out. Meanwhile, infrared spectra, TGA, DSC, AC impedance analysis of the modified epoxy resin were carried out to explore the better technology. The results showed that, organic silicon polymer/epoxy resin as 1:1, reaction time was 3h, reaction temperature was 150℃, various properties of products were improved significantly, resistance to high temperature can reach 450 or more.℃According to the requirements of the performance of high temperature resistant anti-corrosive design, corresponding pigments and additives are chosen. By means of ordinary carbon steel coated after physical and mechanical properties of the coating, high temperature resistant, resistant to water, acid and alkali resistance to water, etc. The performance test and AC impedance analysis were completed. Coating basically remain unchanged when it is baked at 350℃ for 2 hours, which results show that the coating has good resistance to high temperature anti-corrosion performance. |
