| A novel class of high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant ambient-temperature curing coating for recovery equipment of condensated water was prepared in this paper in order to increase the heat exchangers' service lives and to reduce their industrial cost. The use of the as-prepared coating onto steel surface can efficiently reduce the steel corrosion from condensate water, and will undoubtedly play a significant role on the protection of recovery equipment and on the energy savings.According to the design principle of coating formulation and testing experiment, the kinds and ratios of the film-forming material, pigments and fills, additives, curing agent were determined. The comprehensive performances of the as-prepared coating were evaluated by water resistance test, corrosion resistance test, and electrochemical impedance test thermogravimetry analysis.Based on the experimental results, we used an epoxy modified silicone with the high silicon content as film-forming material resin, and determined the ratio of major pigments and fillers, such as talcum powder and micaceous iron oxide gray, through orthogonal experiment. In this study, polyamide 651 was selected as a curing agent and zirconium dioxide was added to increase the high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant properties, by which improved the physical mechanical properties and chemical corrosion resistance performance of the coating. The optimized recipe for the coating is as follows:epoxy modified silicone resin FJNH-4 45-55%, micaceous iron oxide gray 20-25%, sericite 5.6-8.6%, talcum powder 3.2-5.5%, zirconium dioxide 5-8.5%, dispersant agent 0.2-0.5%, antifoaming agent 0.3-0.6%. The aforementioned results demonstrated that the as-prepared coating showed good anti-corrosion properties in 120℃condensate water environment. |
