Nowadays, with the rapid development of industry, the need of the elongated shaft represented by screw and screw motor rotor is increasing, and such parts are widely used in oil industry. The requirements of precision and quality are also getting higher and higher.Advanced cyclones milling technology is used in the machining of the elongate shaft parts,which has become an effective way to solve problems of the conventional slender shaft parts processing.Cylindrical whirlwind milling machine is a kind of whirlwind milling technique, used in new machines of processing slender shaft parts. By controlling the whirlwind milling head with the respect to the eccentricity of the workpiece and speed, for the processing of single-head screw, double-head screw and cylindrical surface, and the operation principle of the dual fixed turret and the working drawbacks of the mechanical structure of the existing whirlwind milling machines were analyzed and studied. A center frame of dual rotation is innovatively proposed, and it will apply to the machine tool, and the dynamic characteristics of the machine tool is analyzed in this paper.Firstly, the domestic and foreign research status of whirlwind milling technique and the dynamic characteristic design of machine tool are illustrated, then the finite element analysis theory of analysis of dynamic characteristics of machine tool structure, the structural characteristics, processing principle and machining process of outer circle whirlwind milling machine are introduced. Secondly, the key components of the machine tool center frame and bed dynamic characteristics are studied, and the natural frequency is obtained, and from the perspective of the inner ribs of bed layout, and the machine structure is optimally designed.In addition, the cutting the stability of cylindrical whirlwind milling machines in the machining process is analyzed in this paper, and the finite element model of the workpiece in different support ways are established. The vibration characteristics of workpiece in different support ways is obtained, and the performance in different support ways is comparatively analyzed.
