With the constant progress of the society,and the faster paces of life, people are facing pressure from various aspects of life. Meanwhile, shortage of energy caused by excessive resource consumption and request, environmental pollution has gone far beyond the earth limit. This is a serious threat to the survival and health of human being. LOHAS is a healthy, happy, environmentally friendly, and sustainable lifestyle. It attracts more attention from more people. Moreover, such lifestyle obtained people’s recognition and acceptance concerning relieving stress, improving environment, and keeping good health. Along with the increase of the residential areas, people’s demands for home textiles are also increasing.Home textiles become essential daily necessities in our daily life. Faced with ever-increasing pressure, people need a happy and cheerful household environment for relieving stress. Through investigations, this thesis found out the deficiency in current home textiles design and the lack of LOHAS design in home textiles.Through methods of literature analysis, research analysis and practice verification, the thesis conducted a comprehensive research on home textiles design of LOHAS lifestyle from aspects of theory, market and practice. Regarding the manifestation of LOHAS lifestyles and demand for home textiles as the entry point of the research, through the research and analysis of LOHAS lifestyles and home textiles market, this thesis obtains a better understanding of people with LOHAS lifestyles’ demand inclination for home textiles. It also conducts an in-depth investigation on home textiles design of LOHAS lifestyles. Moreover, it regards the happy and cheerful home environment of LOHAS lifestyles as the foundation, and highlights simplicity, pleasure, integrity and sustainability through method of practice verification. In addition, the thesis makes pointed references to concepts and elements of home textiles design, formulates product schemes for bedroom series, living room series and kitchen series home textiles with LOHAS atmosphere, and completes bedroom series, living room series home textiles design as well, thus verifying theoretical research.
