With the rapid development of the national economy, urban atmospheric pollution is consistently tough for city as a agglomeration of people that sustain both kinds pressure from production and living. Though real-time and reliability are still demanded by urban atmospheric monitoring, universality and maintenance convenient turn out to be considered. Presently, with the construction of network infrastructure constantly improving, a lot of city started the project of AP deploy intend to achieving the wide-area coverage for wireless Ethemet, which can be use to reduce costs of network organization for the atmospheric monitoring system base on wireless Ethemet. Comparing with other 2.4G wireless communication methods, this monitoring system possess advantages on rate, range, etc.This paper accomplished a monitoring system atmosphere oriented base on wireless Ethemet, introduced the design of the monitoring system. The system is comprised by two parts: the wireless sensor network and the host computer interface. The wireless sensor network achieved transmission between terminal nodes and route nodes, route nodes and wireless AP, AP relaying, AP and gateway nodes, gateway nodes and host computer by only WIFI. Hence for the system is able to take advantage of mature technology and abundant equipment base on WIFI, and share the network resource in the area where deploy wireless AP which provide the fast way to organize network; the host computer’s interactive interface is programmed under the environment of VS2005 to keep its portability. The host computer is set as an AP through connecting with wireless peripheral in which memory marked SSID and password. Due to that peripheral, any equipment that can operate the monitoring software can net in the wireless network through connect with the peripheral and input its own IP into the gateway node, which, provides a flexible method in organizing network. The main research content are as follow:1)Have both hardware and software designs of Sensing nodes that constitute to wireless sensor network completed.The sensor nodes built with STM32f103 ZE as MCU achieved wireless transmitting through ESP8266 WIFI module.The terminal nodes were responsible for digital conversion of the analog signal collected by sensors and sending result data in real time to the routing nodes; the routing nodes were run in STA+AP mode that collected the data of the terminal nodes as well as visit the AP of wireless Ethemet bridge.The gateway nodes collected the data of wireless Ethemetbridge and communicated with the host computer.2)Under the VS2005 environment, Set socket for non-blocking form, and then create the socket and binds to the specified port of PC IP. Set the port to monitor mode, so that when there is a data sending and receiving thread connection request arrives to receive from the TCP-Client data transmission terminal. After the host computer receives the data, the data packet analysis, obtain its routing node IP terminal node from IP, gas concentration and so on. The opportunity to save data, and by configuring the data display module to realize list display and waveform display, convenient monitoring personnel to obtain real-time and historical information monitoring.
