Greenhouse gas emission and the demand for energy are two major issues which the development of China’s economy faced are. With the rapid development of China ’s economy,energy consumption and CO2 emissions will continue to increase,the task of developing the economy and improving residents’ living standard are very difficult,so China faces more severe challenges than developed countries in response to climate change【2】.According to the National High Technology Research and Development Program( 863 Program) "Carbon Capture and Sequestration Technologies " key project requirements of the subject, Tianjin Geothermal Exploration and Development Institute and the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other institutions undertaken the issue together. On the basis of the work that CO2 Geological Sequestration of Salt Water Layer relevant tests and measurement,this topic start the research for the key technical problems of the storage of CO2, and exploit the technology of the CO2 Geological Sequestration suits for China.The CO2 Geological Sequestration is to make the CO2 stored in deep underground saline formations natural pores. This technology can achieve long-term storage of the CO2 in the ground, and it is the most economic and reliable practical technology now. The CO2 Geological Sequestration is equivalent to build an underground artificial gas reservoir, its site conditions is similar to the reservoir conditions of gas accumulation【1】.Through the CO2 injection rate, wellhead and formation pressure monitoring, from the accumulation of carbon dioxide to explore the process of carbon dioxide injection, the process of valuable experience the successful field testing of the CO2 Geological Sequestration, this paper not only acquired a lot of first-hand data, but also made achievements in the CO2 Sequestration sites location research,the sequestration sites three-dimensional modeling technology and the CO2 injection construction technology.
