| The YJSW315-8A fluid torque converter is 5 tons loading machine’s main transmission components, it is a high efficiency, low energy consumption type torque converter which is developed by Shantui Transmission Company. The YJSW315-8A fluid torque converter are accessed by mainframe factory, and the quantity is more and more large. The YJSW315-8A fluid torque converter is mainly composed of movement, gear and shell body, movement is mainly divided into the pump, turbine and guide wheel. The turbine is aluminum casting, it is made of sand cores which is made from hot core box and the gravity die. The precision of the shape of the turbine blade is determinate by the turbine hot core box, which determines the transmission performance of the torque converter. The objective of using electrodes on the hot core box mould for root cleaning is:The production cycle of the hot core box are reduced, The quality of the hot core box is improved. The scrap rate is reduced. It provide a basis for making the hot core box with many cores at the same time.This paper uses CATIA as the 3D design software, the electrode to process with the machining center. The electric spark forming machine is used to pencl the hot core box. The feasibility analysis, design of electrode, electrode processing are using in this paper.The paper analyzes the current situation of domestic and foreign mold processing, briefly describes the use of electric spark on the hot core box. The processing way of hot core box is described detailed in this paper. The quality of pencle on the hot core box is under influence of design parameters and discharge electrode.In this paper, the following problems are solved:First, the design of electrode is designed by spark gap.Second, the material of electric pole is contrasted detailed in this paper. The comparison on the electrode materials, the cost of materials, p electrical erosion surface quality, durability compared are described detailed.Third, the discharge parameters of electric spark is optimal selection. We change the discharge parameters to achieve high surface quality.Fourth, we check the hot core box with 3D scanner. We get the point clouds from scanning the hot core box. The point clouds are used to identify the differences between the mould size and the size of design. |
