The underground mining machinery equipment is necessary in the process of themodernization construction. The manufacturing industry of the facilities also havegreat importance.The trend in the development of the underground mining equipmentis to exploit the trackless load car and dumping car. To improve the dynamic and fueleconomy of the diesel has a great realistic significance. To make the optimizationstudy in the torque converter matching with diesel engine is an effective approach toattain the goal.The traditional method of the matching calculation which needs lots of rathercomplicated manual calculation and mapping exercise is original. What is more, thereliability of the matching result depends on the artificial experience of the workers.If the matching result was considered unsatisfactory, the workers need to start thematching again. Therefore, the period of designing is always more than one month.In view of the present situation of torque converter matching with diesel enginewhich is poor efficiency, low accuracy and long period, a general technical supportingsystem in the matching optimization of the diesel engine and the hydraulic torqueconverter which is with high accuracy and favorable interface, convenient to operateis developed. The mathematical problems and programming skills in the design israised and solved, providing some technical methods like mathematics manipulation,data acquisition and criterion implantation. With the technical system, automation ofdesign calculation, graphical output and automatic judgment of match rationality canbe conducted.The system is based on the visual interface of MATLAB GUI, in the systemdevelopment process, mainly the following aspects:(1) Established the original database which obtains the input characteristic curveof the hydraulic torque converter and the engine. (2) Fitted the input characteristic curve by Table-Curve software, and analyzedthe consecutiveness, smoothness, conformality and fitting error.(3) Based on the fitting formula by Table-Curve software, drew the inputcharacteristic curve of torque converter matching with diesel engine and provided thecurve equation which can be precisely calculated.(4) Established the database of torque converter and diesel engine appropriatedfor engineering machinery which can be conveniently used and expanded by user.(5) According to the matching principles, established an expert criterion systemto estimate the rationality of the matching result.(6) Designed the completed and contracted program interface.
