Over the past ten years, with the rapid developing of China’s economy and the deepening of social industrialization, a large number of waste products have a serious threat to our environment. At the same time, a great amount of resources are consumed in the production of these products, and abandonment means resources is wasted, so the product recovery has become a social problem that we must face.This paper deeply analyzes the present situation of recycling and disassembly of scrap cars at home and abroad, and the research about disassembly planning. Based on the research of automobile structure, this study discusses the uncertainty in the disassembly process, and analyzes the choice of product disassembly model from the perspective of the actual non- disassembly and economic. It takes Santana car as an example to analyze the disassembly process, including preprocessing, exterior disassembly, interior disassembly, disassembly of vehicle assembly and shear packing of bodywork, in-depthly analyzes and studies the demand of auxiliary information for the whole disassembly process. Based on the process analysis, the determination method of the vehicle disassembly mode is established, which is the basis for the decision making of ELV disassembly production plan. In the end, the prototype of the system is developed, providing effective logistics manage in the workshop, and guiding workers with visual interface. Finish above work, the main function of the system is tested and analyzed, and the practicability of the system is verified.In this paper, process planning system of scrap vehicle disassembly is designed and implemented, for scrap car recycling providing a feasible operation, improving operation efficiency and the overall economic plan.
