Vegetable jute is rich in calcium, selenium and dietary fiber. It was appointed as excellent and special vegetable for Olympic athletes. Four of ten good taste varieties are selected to indentify their yield character, determine the nutrients and develop a new kind of vegetable jute tea and vegetable jute drink and so on, here are the results:1、Make a identification to yield characters of four kinds of vegetable jute, the result show that, their growing period and picking available days are respectively 127.3 to 178.0 and 68.3 to 100.0 days. Young stems and leaves yield of vegetable jute Funong No.l, Funong No.2. Funong No.3 and Funong No4 are respectively 1770.0kg,1863.3 kg,1703.3 kg and 1760.0 kg per Mu.2、Make the test of nutrients of leaves of four kinds of vegetable jute and evaluate their nutritive value, the result is: the fresh stems and leaves respectively contain protein, total dietary fiber, Ca, K, Na, Mg, Se, vitamin E, vitamin C, beta carotene and total amino acids 5.1-7.5g, 7.1-9.7g,228-814mg,714-1500mg,1.3-40mg,83-165mg,2.9-7.0mg,1.0-100μg,2.4-5.29mg, 38-124mg,1.0-8.9mg and 5.09-6.44g per 100g, and contain seven indispensable amino acids. Most of the content of nutrients are higher than general wild vegetables and outclass common vegetables. Funong vegetable jute is a kind of both diet and medicine health vegetable.3、make the test of several mineral substance of three experimental plots planted vegetable jute and evaluate its ability of mineral substance absorption. The result is:1、Seven kinds of mineral substance in experimental plots of Fujian agriculture and forestry university is higher than other two plots. Content of six kinds of mineral substance in other two plots do not have signal difference except iron.2、Vegetable jute has the strong ability to ability to absorb calcium and phosphorus, but weak in sodium and iron. The ability to absorb magnesium and potassium has little difference. The ability to absorb selenium of Funong No 1 and No 2 is strong, but Funong No 4 is weak.4、The conditions of chlorophyll extracted from Vegetable Jute(Corchorus olitorius L), including the sorts and amounts of solvent、solid-liquid ratio、extraction temperature and extraction time were studied by the chlorophyll content extracted, then which were optimized by Orthogonal Test(L9(34)). The results indicates that the main factors of effects extracted chlorophyll: Extraction temperature> Solid-liquid ratio> Extraction time, and Which reached a significant at 1% level; The best extraction technology of chlorophyll was: ethanol(95%), solid-liquid ratio(1:6), extraction temperature(60℃) and extraction time(4h). Under the optimum extraction conditions, the concentration of chlorophyll extracted was 3.375mg/g, is 1.8 to 106.46 times to chlorophyll extraction efficiency of several plants.5% Develop a preparation method of vegetable jute tea, the process, in turn, selecting, airing, green moving, twisting, frying, molding, drying and packing. The product is dark brown. After making tea water, the leaves turn green and the tea water has an orange color. The tea water doesn’t have bitter taste or grass taste. It is a new healthy drink of preventing sunstroke.6、Provide a preparation method of vegetable jute drink, the main ingredient include 10% to 90% concentrated vegetable jute justice,2% to 7% sweet taste material,0.15% to 0.30% citric acid,0.25% to 1% edible oil,0.05% to 0.20% stabilizer, adding water to 100%. The product is pale yellowish green, has a faint scent from vegetable jute leaves and taste soft slipper and cool. It contains abundant vitamins, indispensable mineral substances and seven kinds of indispensable amino acids. It is also a new healthy drink of preventing sunstroke.7、Make the test of kind and content of fatty acids in vegetable jute seed oil. The result is:the edible seed oil include palmitic acid (17.40%), stearic acid (1.676%), oleic acid (15.90%), linoleic acid (62.14%)and linoleinc acid (2.868%). The content of saturated fatty acid is low, unsaturated fatty acid is more than 80% and the indispensable fatty acid is higher than common edible oil.8、Make a comprehensive analysis of economic benefit of vegetable jute. The result is: vegetable jute has the high yield, strong disease resistance and high nutritional value, and it need not use the pesticide during its growth period. It is a kind of safe green and healthy food. Meanwhile, it has the strong resistance to economic risk. Above all, it deserves to make development and generalization.
