High silicon steel with 6.5%Si have three major advantages:ultra-low iron lose, high permeability and low noise. It is the ideal core material of motor of high speed and high frequency, high frequency transformer and reactor power electronic equipment. Rolling forming and the texture control is two key problems faced by high silicon steel preparation. Up to now, silicon content of Industry oriented silicon steel is limited to less than 3.5%, On the international, not yet manufacture with industrialization oriented high silicon steel contained 6.5% Si.First of all, in this paper, successful manufacture 6.5% Si oriented high silicon steel strip with strongηtexture by secondary cold rolling method, rolling to the 0.30 mm thick, and studied texture evolution law of oriented high silicon steel contained different C content during the preparation by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and EBSD technology. Secondly, in this paper,use Cr replace Si for increasing plasticity of high silicon steel, and manufacture the Fe-4.5%Si-4.0%Cr high silicon steel strip, high frequency property magnetic of which equivalent to 6.5%Si high silicon steel. Furthermore, studied the mechanical properties and texture features using stretching, SEM and X-ray diffraction technology. C content have a significant impact to structure and texture evolution of 6.5% Si oriented high silicon steel. hot rolled band which contain 0.14~0.17%C appear significant organizational gradient and texture gradient along the thickness. The surface of hot rolled band mainly is oversize Goss orientation deformation grain, the core of hot rolled band isλorientation deformation grain. Onlyηorientation grain of the high silicon steel which contain 0.15% C grow up to secondary recrystallization grain. If content of C is below or above 0.15% C, theηorientation grain is not able to grow up to stable secondary recrystallization.Within the scope of the room temperature to 600℃, the plastic of Fe-4.5%Si-4.0%Cr is obviously better than Fe-6.5%Si, and the strain rate can reach to 30% at room temperature by 0.005s-1 elongation rate.Recrystallization texture of Fe-4.5%Si-4.0%Cr is mainly composed of{114}< 481> and y texture, and hot rolled plate and cold rolled down rate have significant influence on recrystallization texture. The microstructure of hot rolled band and reduction ratio of cold rolled have a significant influence on recrystallization texture. After cold rolled and annealed, hot rolled plate with 50% recrystallization rate is more easier to form a strong{114}<481> recrystallization texture, while the enlargement of grain size of hot rolled band will enhance gamma recrystallization texture. With the reduction ratio from85% increase to 95%, the strength of{114}<481> texture is obviously enhanced. The condition of cold-rolled with strong a texture and the weak y texture is more conducive to the development of recrystallization texture{114} <481>.
