Under the background of today’s rapid development of networked digital multimedia technology, tea culture, as an important part of Chinese traditional culture, it has many dissemination ways. And using networked digital media technology to spread tea culture has been currently the major form of transimission of tea culture. Although there are many information about dissemination of tea culture on the web, using traditional combination of graphic and words is still a main method to publicize the tea culture, which lacks interactivity and fun. Therefore, people still have not paid much attention to it. Focusing on the problem that the current dissemination of tea culture is lack of fun and interactivity, this paper analysed the current situation of spreading of tea culture, especially online dissemination, and suggested to use multimedia technology, such as interactive animation and Web3 D, to increase the fun and interactivityof tea culture.Thus, it will attract more individuals’ eyes on tea culture and have more interest to learn it. And this paper also designed and complete a interactive platform of tea culture of Tea Expo Net, which is gatherd tea interactive animation and three-dimensional virtual tea museum in one.The main research contents of this paper are as follows,(1) Analysing the current situation of dissemination of tea culture. In consideration of the problem that the dissemination of tea culture is lack of fun and interactivity, proposing a plan to increase its fun and interactivity. The plan is adding interactive animation technology and Web3 D technology based on the existing dissemination methods of tea culture to make the presentation of tea culture in a more diversified ways.(2) Analysing the need of designing tea expo net from interface design, tea interactive animation design and 3D tea museum design three parts, and determining the overall platform architecture of interactive platform of tea culture of Tea Expo Net.(3) Using 2D interactive animation technology to design and complete interactive animation of Longjing green tea’s making and brewing, and using animation interactivecontrols to let users participate in the activities of tea making and brewing. And fusioning the tea making process and tea brewing methods into the story by designing the plot. Compiling Flash scripts by ActionScript to make the story nonlinear. Analysing the factors about affecting the size of Flash files, and optimizing these graphics and audio to reduce the K number of files and the occupancy rate of CPU to faster the loading speed of Flash.(4) Designing and creating a 3D model of a virtual tea museum. Using Web3 D to realize the roaming function of scene interaction and establishing the online tea museum.(5) Using Asp technology and Access database to complete the dynamic webpages of this system and database’s compilation and to realize the user-interactive functions of Tea Expo Net.(6) Analysing the system testing through the two parts of usability testing and functional testing by direct observation method.
