There often exists risk in the actual mechanical operation of the pre-service teaching ofoilfield production operations which needs especial operability. With the the number of wellsexploited rising year by year, there are more and more workers involved. So training andtechnical guidance to them has become a problem. This topic apples virtual reality technologyapplication in teaching, and this has the advantages of “save a lot of on-site training funds”,"break through the limitations of time and space","to avoid the real injury of trainingoperation for beginners ", etc., especially in oil drilling operations which has highperformance affiliate and more risk.This paper is developed according to the actual teaching requirement of the DaQing OilTrial Exploiting Cor..The system meets the teaching need through imitating the trialingexploiting by3D models and by controlling the whole production operation with Virtools4.0.This system is guided by Constructivism and Situated Cognition. And it sets up theinteractive virtual training environment by using the Virtual Reality Technology. virtualoperability of oilfield production operations, especially the pre-service teaching in the actualoperation, there is often the risk of rising year by year the number of wells with the miningpersonnel involved in oil exploration work on more and more numerous, they training andtechnical guidance to become a problem. This topic will be virtual reality technologyapplication in teaching, and save a lot of on-site training funds to "break through thelimitations of time and space","to avoid the real training operation for beginners injury", etc.,especially workable risk coefficient larger oil drilling operations. The exploiting is based onmodern teaching technologies and computer3D simulating technologies. Combining with therunning string operation, the exploiting realizes the3D interactive drill of the running stringoperation. The Running String Operation Drill System divides operating imitating of casessuch as the whole running string operation and complex situations for users. In this system,3DS max is mainly used to make well sites models, and Virtools is used to make basic moviescript. At last, the system is output in the form of web, and applied to net to make teachingmore general.The3D interactive drill system in this system not only proceeds from actual teaching idea, but also needs to operate by the regular rules of Petroleum exploration to ensure theinteractive system’s accuracy.Aftering the operating accuracy is ensured, the system realizes physical model making,simulates the real-world scenarios, normatively models the huge oil equipment and instrument,and then realize modeling with a than a specification for actual equipment and instrument.The whole system can not only train but only test the common workers’s skill, it provides achance of learning at all times and makes independent and self-directed study more important.The whole system needs little cost not only in developing but also during the whole laterperiod maintaining. The cost of the system is very low because once operating the systemneeds only Virtools to operate. But after coming into use, this system can bring oilexploitation teaching great economic value and applied value.
