Refractory material is essential to high temperature industry. The development of national industries which are important to our economy, including steel, non-ferrous, building material and chemical industry, is closely related to the progress of refractory production. In recent years, some production enterprises have used the automatic production line relied on the rapid development of automatic technology, which can save a lot of labors’ cost. But the unreasonable production scheduling and process design will increase the energy consumption and reduce the production efficiency. As a result, a reasonable production process plays an important role in mass production of refractory enterprises. The research is based on an enterprise which product refractory material.In this thesis, a summary of the problems of optimal process is made at first. Then on the basis of detailed analysis of transport process, an automatic control scheme is designed for transport car. The location system of the transport car is improved by rotary encoder, proximity switch and mechanism orientation, so the transport car can be located precisely. In addition, the wireless communication mode is adopted. Therefore, the information can be transmitted in time; meanwhile the kiln car can be pulled and pushed exactly.Production scheduling is the headquarters of production running in a process enterprise. The number of task performed by the two transport cars which run in the same rail will increase when the bricks are volume-produced. An inaccurate way of task allocation can lead to collision and task tardiness. To the above question, a mathematical model is established based on the theory of parallel-machine scheduling. Then the model is solved by using basic genetic algorithm and adaptive genetic algorithm, the result of this mathematic model about process scheduling is consistent with the actual requirements.In the process of optimization of transport system, the basic principle of hybrid flow-shop scheduling problem is learned at first. A mathematic model of minimum makespan is made to check whether the production process is reasonable or not. Based on the production requirement and actual data, we utilize adaptive genetic algorithm to get the time consumption of producing a certain number of brick based on the mathematic modeling. In this way, we can know the result that the production process designed is rational. At last, we get the minimum number of brick machine that can meet the biggest productivity through MATLAB simulation.
