Ecological civilization construction is an important way to achieve harmony between human being and nature, is the realistic need for implementing Scientific Outlook on Development and building“Beautiful China”.Wuling Mountain Area is remote, and the development of economy is fall behind, which is one of the Destitute Areas that across many provinces, has lots of ethnic minorities with deep degree poverty. Ecological civilization construction is benefit for the improvement of ecological environmental quality, but also benefit for poverty alleviation, it’s the important way to promote Wuling Mountain Area comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development. And Destitute Areas in our country are lack of Ecological civilization construction researches,researching the Ecological civilization construction of Wuling Mountain Area can be referenced to the other Destitute Areas.Wuling Mountain Area has the peerless environment and climatic conditions with its excellent geographic location and distinctive natural and humane resources,but people lack the consciousness of environment protection, they are pay more attention to Economic performance, which lead to environment pollution,soil eroding speed up and biodiversity become less in Wuling Mountain Area. This thesis is guided by Marxist ecological theories,analyzing the ecological problems and the reasons for the problems of Wuling Mountain Area in an objective way, taking the features and advantages of Wuling Mountain Area’s ecological, exploring an effective way to construct the Ecological civilization of Wuling Mountain Area, there are some suggestions for increasing environmental awareness,improving the environmental mechanism,and adjusting industrial structure, accelerating a development process in Wuling Mountain Area’s ecological civilization construction, promoting coordinated development of environmental conservation and economic development.
