Briquette coking has both theorical and practical meanings for making use of our cou ntry’s coal resource effectively,ensuring blast furnace coking quality as well as lowering bl ending coal coking cost.In this thesis,taking Xinjiang weakly caking coal as raw material,Angang tar residue and modified asphalt as caking agent,I separately study coking coal co ld briquetting and hot briquetting technological condition’s impact to coke quality.Among them,the study content of hot briquetting technology aims at making full use of coking co al’s caking property under heating condition to improve briquette’s strength and coke’s qua lity.In this thesis,I study the factors of coking coal briquetting and the best condition of briquette technology,investigate conventional coal coking,blending cold briquetting coal coking and blending hot briquetting coal coking,make blending coal coking experiment on briquette with its greenbelt sizes as diameter40 mm,height 20 mm,and test the function indexes of coke’s cold strength,hot property,porosity etc..The test shows that :when briquetting conditions are the same,the strength of hot briquetting coal obviously surpasses that of cold briquetting coal.As briquetting temperature rising,the time needs for hot briquetting coal getting the best strength lessens.When briquetting temperature is 350℃,briquette compression strength maximizes after heating constantly for 20 mins.When using tar residue and modified asphalt as caking agents,with 5% respectively,its compression strength is 313 N,320N corresondingly.When briquetting temperature is 300℃,briquette dropping intensity maximizes after heating constantly for 30 mins.When using tar residue and modified asphalt as caking agents,with 5%respectively,its dropping intensity is 93%,97%correspondingly.When briquetting temperature is relatively high,caking agent’s impact to briquette’s property is not obvious.So,this experiment has certain creativity for the use of briquette’s caking property.At the same time,this experiment studies caking agent quality’s impact to briquetting property.As tar residue percentage in briquette increases,coke quality worsens;as modified asphalt in briquette increases,coke quality gets better.When coking conditions are the same,the quality if coke is worst with conventional coal;that with cold briquetting coal the next and that with hot briquetting coal the best,coke reactivity lowers 3~4percent,post-reaction strength rises 6~7percent.Coke quality with blending hot briquetting coal improves with briquetting temperature rising.When briquetting temperature rises from 200 ℃ to 350 ℃,coke’s reactivity lowers 1.5%,post-reaction strength rises2%.When caking agent percentage remains unchanged,making tar residue and partial weakly coking coal in blending coal into hot pressing coal,coke quality improves as hot briquetting coal percentage increases,but the best ratio is 30%.
