In the increasingly competitive society, every field products tends to miniaturization, convenient, high-end and precision, and the machinery manufacturing industry is also no exception, and there is a relationship between the development level of the mechanical manufacturing industry and the advanced manufacturing technology, especially in the holes of the mechanical parts processing. This requires our researchers and scholars must continue to research and develop advanced manufacturing technology of new, to tight with the pace of the world, to enhance the level of manufacturing industry and enhance the international competitiveness of our country.On the basis of a lot of data, this paper summarizes the development status of domestic and international about the processing technology of tiny hole, and the application in the Difficult-to-machine materials, dentally analysis and compares the advantages and disadvantages in the processing of materials between them. According to this situation, this paper further study a new kind of hole machining technology that it is drill grinding technology, the basic working principle of drill grinding is grinding. A grinder are made with a lot of abrasive of cubic boron nitride material, give the speed and amount of feed, removal the material by grinding. In order to study the whole grinding drill, we first study a single abrasive grain, making the titanium alloy as processing object, analysis the grinding process of single abrasive grain to prove its feasibility. We use Deform-3D software to design the drill point grinding’s the grinding angle cone tip, the grain protruding height, the grain density of abrasive. According to the simulation results, we analysis the affection of different grit protrusion height and angle of the cone tip and density to the Z average load and the average torque and the temperature variation range in the process of grinding drill, to find out the abrasive angle of the cone tip and the abrasive protruding height and abrasive density value that have minimal impact to the drill performance. We ultimately determine that when the abrasive tip angle is 90 degrees, the grain protrusion height is 5 micron and particle density is 9 micron, the grinding drill structure is most reasonable. Then, we use having designed Grinding drill to study on the effect of speed and feed rate to machining process and analysis of the changes of load, torque and temperature, and according to the actual production situation, select a reasonable processing speed and feed.
